7-day timers for small heaters

12/02/08 | by Jeff [mail] | Categories: Temperature

We have put the water heater and space heater in the canteen on 7 day timers to cut down waste at the weekend.

We used ceiling panels to block two air inlets in the production area, as the AC units were switched off and were blowing out cold air. We hope this will make the production area heat up faster. We also closed the AC vent in the unused room next to the calibration room.

We reset the fresh air intake timing to match the air conditioning timers.

The heating has been made to switch on half an hour earlier and switch off half an hour later.
