Kitchen savings

We fitted a timer to the water heater used to make tea in the kitchen, and to the electric heater in the kitchen. They now switch on only during working hours, so we hope that this will cut down on wasted energy. more »

Unwanted air conditioning

Location of heating sensor

We found that the temperature in two adjacent rooms was varying wildly.  This turned out to be because the temperature sensor was fitted close to a duct that carried cold air from the roof void.  When we moved the sensor, this fixed the problem. more »
